We decided to try one of the family restaurants nearby for us to practice eating out together.
Since Reika likes cars both for watching and riding, just like a baby boy, we often take the bus.
She enjoys it on the condition that she rides less than 10 minutes.
One of our biggest concerns about eating out with her was how to keep her in a good mood until her food arrived, but right after we got the table, she kept busy by watching the people around us, looking at the menu and being curious about the stuff on the table. So we had a very smooth start.
And she liked her dish which was a bowl of Japanese noodles.
She did the baby sign for "give me more" which she normally does when she is in a good mood.
It's been so long since I've been to one of those family restaurants, the last time was probably back in college. Now I think we should go more often cause their style is really "family-friendly".
The one we went to this time was "jonathan's". They brought Reika a sheet of stickers to play with at the very beginning which was very helpful to kill time before the meal. Also they have a few types of ready-made babyfood on the menu. I started to be curious about how other family restaurants are like. We should try Denny's soon.
