And we were too excited to consider any costumes.
But this year, we did a soft introduction to Halloween for Reika.
She doesn't mind putting on any kind of headdresses. She actually loves it. I guess it's related to her mom's occupation. We are surrounded by tremendous amounts of headdresses at home.
We had a Halloween party with the Tuesday playgroup members.
After spending a few minutes on mom's lap to observe how her friends look totally different, she took off and started dancing. (i think she was scared in the beginning.)
And we did trick or treat.
trick or treat とthank you は蚊の鳴くような声でした。
However, her "trick or treat" and "thank you" were very shy and hardly audible....
So curious about what's inside.
There are many snacks that your parents haven't given to you yet.
Lately, she notices the smell of chocolate.
When I play with her after having taken a bite of chocolate behind her back, she points at my mouth and ask "What is this?" She's never had chocolate before but somehow she knows it's something really GOOD. Since Garland and I are really careful about sugar-highs, Reika is behind on many sweet snacks.
I feel bad for Reika - she did all that trick or treating and didn't get to eat any candy... maybe next year or the year after.
